passion for skiint
and passion for writing
means the best writer for your brand or project.
I grew up in the mountains. In North Bohemia, where snow starts to melt, while in other Czech cities, flowers already bloom.
I have skied since I was three. We visited the Alps as soon as our family could afford to cross the borders in 1996. I still like to watch the family video from those years. We were amazed watching the gondolas and wide, white slopes, eating Germknödels big as a dog´s head.
Since then I have been in the Alps at least three times a year, mostly in winter, sometimes in the summer. But my love for skiing was only magnified when I met my husband.
As a hobby ski racer, racing in the FIS Master competition and conquering the famous Gardenissima, he introduced me to the world where skies get to be properly vaxed and professionally prepared. A world where you don´t just ski; you learn, grow, and improve.
We visit Austria and South Tyrolia every year. We watch the alpine skiing World Cup races, and as a writer and journalist, I found a way to turn my passion into occupation with Skiers Planet and this newsletter.
For two years, I worked as a copywriter with Happy Sport, I write ski resort reviews for the magazine Vacation Muse, reports from the World Cup for SkiersPlanet magazine, and I’ve launched my own newsletter for ski nerds.
Short regular reports as well as in-depth coverage of the Alpine Skiing World Cup — including on-the-ground reporting.
Independent newsletter for ski enthusiasts.
Two years of collaboration with a ski equipment shop and rental service. A copywriting all-rounder — from newsletters to website content.
