A dream of a world without social media.
As a marketer, I realize social media is vital for some clients. But I worry about the impact of social media on our society.
And the way social media dilutes and simplifies every message scares me.
I will never stop looking for ways to sell and communicate my ideas without limiting social media’s role in marketing, public discourse, and our lives.
I dream of more people unscreening themselves, and, more importantly, I dream of a world where those who do not want to chase likes and shares are not made to do so. A world where offline networking will be cool again.
