safe and sensible

I’ve been spinning stories in my head since I was a kid. Back then, they were innocent little adventures. Then puberty hit, and suddenly there were men in them. And heat.

But instead of chasing that, I did the “sensible” thing. Got myself a PhD in history. Safe, serious, respectable. Except life had other plans. I got my happily every after with my sexy skier.

My happily ever after… though let’s be honest, in real life it sometimes looked more like that song from Tangled: Is this happily ever after after all…

born to write

because with my fairy-tale, kids came. they inspired me, and drained me at the same time. I realized, that I owed them and inspiration and i owed myself the life of my dreams.

It took a few detours and a lot of healing before I came back to writing. And when I did, I realized something shocking: people don’t just want romance stories, they crave them.

one day out on a run, i heard a song and the idea broke out. It was the song Show Yourself from Frozen 2. Like elsa, i knew that i finally found out what I was born to do.

why i write romance

Because yes, I’ve always loved romance novels. What else is life really about? Career highs are nice, but without love, without a relationship that works — and yes, without good sex — happiness doesn’t last. That’s why even psychiatrists always ask about your sex life first.

So yes, I believe in the healing power of spicy romance. It lets women take back our sexuality, own our desires, and stop apologizing for wanting more. And if my stories make you squeeze your thighs together while they do it? Even better.

The Crash Course

prequel to the carve series

Before the Olympics, before the fame—there was a crash that changed everything.

She crashed into his life—only to vanish into memory as soon as the heat that stole their reason faded. He was everything she swore to stay away from—yet every time their eyes met, sparks burned through her resolve.

Thomas Kern isn’t just an elite skier—he’s the elite skier. Flying downhill at 140 km/h, hit by 3 g in every turn, he’s fearless, flawless, and worshiped. He’s won everything—four globes, countless races, the adoration of a nation. Everything except Olympic gold. Everything except the fire he’s lost somewhere along the way.

Katharina Berger is ambitious, talented, and dangerously perceptive—the kind of journalist who captures emotion better than anyone else. She writes about the heroes of sport but refuses to love them. Until now.

When their worlds collide—athlete and journalist, golden boy and ambitious woman—their connection is instant, electric, and completely off-limits. Falling for him could destroy her career. Loving her could cost him his crown.

But some crashes can’t be undone—and some stories are worth breaking the rules for.

Crash Line is a short prequel to the Carve series—a high-heat, slow-burn sports romance set in the heart of the alpine circuit. If you love athlete × journalist, forbidden attraction, and one-night-that-changes-everything stories, get ready for the passion, the power, and the crash that starts it all.

The Carve series

Welcome to the Slopes

They race on ice, love on fire, and crash harder than they fall.

Gladiators don´t wear armor today.
Some wear race suits so tight you can see every line of muscle as they launch themselves down ice at 140 kilometers an hour.

Their thighs are steel, their swagger reckless, their bravado addictive. They carve lines on mountains where one mistake means the nets—and they grin as if the risk is half the fun.

You’ll see why people call them gods on skis. And if you find yourself squeezing your thighs together just reading about them… well, that’s exactly the point.

Welcome to the Carve series—a world of snow, sweat, and slow-burn heat, where every medal has a price and every touch can turn into an avalanche. If you get lost in the language of gates, splits, and seasons, don’t worry—there’s a glossary and calendar at the back to keep you on track while everything else tempts you to lose control.

The first book Carve My Heart launches in November 2025!
